Located at the Italy-Austria boarder, the Oetztal is well knowned for the comfort of the huts and the ski touring quality. Long glaciers, reasonable heights, nice landscapes. Here ski touring is more than a sport : it is an art of living. The area is also very famous due to "Otzi" a 5300 years old mumy which has been found near the similaun summit.
