Rock climbing :Granit in Chamonix - Great Dolomites in Canazei - Amazing limestone in Verdon
Rock Climbing is one of my favorite activity !
From all my climbing journeys i can say that there are maybe 3 great places for some very different kind of style.Chamonix is definitely the spot to learn traditionnal climbing along the magnificent granit cracks. The Dolomites offers and incredible variety of historical and modern routes, longs and breathtaking, in a warm and friendly italian atmosphere. The Verdon gorges are the place where French free Climbing style born in the mid seventies. Its a natural area , wild and secret, with many options for thoses who love limestone.During all these courses you will learn how to set a belay with friends and nuts , you will see the different crack or slab technics. The main purpose is to learn , enjoy and be amazed by the rock !!.
CHAMONIX : Granit Climbing Course
Duration : 5 days - level mini : 5b - Ratio: 1/3 - Price : 550€/pers - Period : June to sept
Rock climbing with your mountain guide around some of the greatest huts of Mont Blanc range : Envers des Aiguilles and Couvercle. Frome thoses places hundreds of route of all level are possible. On the footprints of rock climbing pionneers you will discover the feeling of "Dulfer" along amazing diedrals.
We will climb on some place such as Pointe des Nantillons , a nice arrow of rock or the very famous "Moine" with its Contamine route. Of course nothing is fully fied, we can change according weather and motivation. But be sure that there are tons of lines waiting for your rock shoes !!,
DOLOMITES : Climbing In Sella Towers, Sassolungo or Tre Cime
Duration : 6 days - Ratio : 1/2 - Price : 600€/pers - Period : august/sept
The climbing in Dolomites area is just a breathtaking experience : nowhere else in the world you will see so many rock tower on a so little area. It is why Dolomites are part of World Preservation Area. The rock is often very good , offering lots of good pockets, which eases the climbing , even for beginners.
During this trip we will experience amongst the nicest routes in the area, regarding , of course, your climbing level. It is why i do recommend to be ok in a french grade 5. From thet you can target routes in the Sella Tower , the Sassolungo or even the Tre Cime. Amongst the finest ones is the Piaz spur on the Rosengarten. Come, see and enjoy !!!!
